Brief Introduction

It’s the oldest and proven methodology adopted where the Acid Resistant Bricks / Tiles Made from selected clay (Silica / Carbon) to meet the specific requirement of IS 4860 and IS4457. Being Silica Bricks/Tiles and inert to most of the chemicals Acid Resistance Cement. Different type of Mortar is used for Bedding and Pointing as per IS 4862 (I), IS 4862 (II), IS 4443 as per Requirement.

We are proud to say we are a pioneer of this concept. Being Sheet size of 1.5Mtr X 20Mtr.

Material of the Sheet is different polymers used in Chemical Process Equipment, Handling in the Chemicals

The Polymer Based Sheet are bonded with the due blending of Fiber Glass, Unsatuarted Polyster Resin and other specified chemicals.

Different type of resins lay down with Glass Fiber to make a perfact lamination to protect the Base Surafce from erosion and corrosion.

As per requirement Galss Fiber Layers and GSM of has been decided to achive the required thickness of the Lining. Different resins are used to achive the desired properties.

Epoxy has a very wide application in Industries one of them is Chemical Resistant Lining.

Different Epoxy are available in materket and in combination to the difeerent Hardners yield different result as per the job requirement.

Epoxy can be applied in combination:

1. Bare as Lining or Costing

2. With Silica Quartz as Screeding

3. With Glass Fiber duly Slian.

Sheet is available in the size of 10M X 1.5M, reduces the joints drastically, further homogenus double welding of the joint makes the lining leak proof, and further sparktesting of the joint ensure for leek proof joint.

Lamination process applied with Brush or Roller ensure that each and every edges are duly covered, use of Galss Fiber Matt increses its mehacnical properties to with stand. Lamination process gives ita smooth surface

Fast and Smooth Brushable application makes the lining excellent in astatic look and modrate chemical resistance. Use of Silica and Glass fiber enhance its mechanical properties.

Being Polymer is on top usage of metallic shovel or like that leads to the damage welding joints and further on. Hence its mostly suitable for water retaining structure i.e. Drain, Sump etc.

A single pinhole or detachment from principal surface will leads to the damage of the entire lining.

Modrate Solvent Free Epoxy doesn’t have good chemical resistance and other properties and if we opt for High End Epoxy i.e. Novolac Base will cost havighly. Further if it damages due to mechanical barke down, single pinhole and detachment due to improper surface prepration leads to the failure.

Chemical Compatability

Pointing (Joint Feeling) Material is primarily the factor decide. Where as Bedding material selection also play a vital role in the performance.

MOC for sheet only the factor here since its an Homogenus Lining.

Resin has to be compitable, further depending upon the chemical compitability Thickness has to be decide.

Acid Rsistant Brick Lining / Flooring

Since the Corrosion Technology found, Acid Proof Tiles are Prime material amongst all other anti-corrosive systems developed over the years Acid Resistant Bricks Lining along with other materials used to protect the Civil / Concrete / Metal Surface from the errosion or chemical atteck of the Chemicals.

Bitumen Mastic: In general, it has been used as per IS 1950 (TDS Enclosed), whereas also papose Bitumen Coated Plastic Sheets as an alternative its has many advantages against the traditional Bitumen Mastic Lining.

Bedding Material and Joint Filling Material: We offer the bedding material as per IS 4832 (Part -1), IS 4832 (Part -2), IS 4443 and best suitable to the condition. Which in general called as Epoxy Tiles Floor or Epoxy Tiles Flooring

Acid Resistant Bricks / Tiles: We offer the Acid Resistant Bricks (20MM and above) as per IS 4860 Class -1, whereas Acid Resistant tiles up to 20MM as per IS 4456 which also comply with European Standards i.e., ASTM C-20. ASTM C – 67 AND ASTM C – 279. TDS and Procedure for commonly used material in Acid Resistant Brick Lining.

SHEET BASE LINING:

We are proud to say the concept for usage of the Polymer Sheet for Chemical Resistant Lining and Flooring has been conceived by Crescent 25 Yrs. back and executed numbers of job throughout the India and Abroad.

In this Polymer Sheet Base Lining MOC of the sheet selected as per the compatibility of the chemical (Acid/Alkali) its will be exposed. Number of Polymers its derivatives are available in the market and are used in Chemical Process plant for Pump Impeller, Valve, Storage Tanks, Carboys, Spare etc. Acid Transfer Pump, Acid Pump, Chemical Dosing Pump, Chemical Process Pump, Chemical Pump and many others types of pumps used in Chemical Industry

Bedding material material used have a bonding strength of 38.65 Kg/ CM2e , Homogenous Bauble welding makes the joint leek proof, and further spark testing of the joints make the Lining free from any possibility of leakages or failur

FRP Coating & FRP Linings (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics), is a superior coating and lining system formed by thermosetting resins selected as per the operational requirement and fiberglass to raise durability and safety by lining inside of piping systems chemical storage tanks, cooling towers, and other types of industrial process equipment. In a lot of applications, FRP coating provides superior performance over other materials.

The GRP Coating method with the use of unique roller brushes. This type of manual FRP coating system can be used out in the field safely, which requires more corrosion resistance and chemical acid resistant

FRP is also coated for aesthetics.Over time the FRP will fade and the gloss will be reduced. Coatings will provide a fresh appearance to the item, including high gloss, if desired.

Performance of FRP Coatings much extend

Grease, Oil, and Dirt- Surfaces must be dry and free of dust, dirt, debris, grease, oil, and other surface contamination. Cleaning can be accomplished by pressure washing supplemented with detergent cleaning as necessary. Low pressure, defined by the Society of Protective Coatings (SSPC) as pressures up to 5,000 psi, is all that if needed. FRP typically has a very smooth, glossy finish which is not conducive for achieving good coating adhesion.At a minimum, the surface needs to be hand or power sanded to remove the gloss and roughen the surface.

Epoxy Lining and Screeding

An epoxy coating is a coating compound consisting of two distinct elements: an epoxy resin and a polyamine hardener (also known as a catalyst). When mixed, the resin and hardener engage in a chemical reaction that creates cross-linking of the elements as it cures. When the epoxy coating is fully cured, the resulting product is a durable, rigid plastic coating with numerous desirable mechanical properties.
